BPG 6582

Properties
Cover Seals are precision pre-formed rings engineered for heavy-duty valves and high-pressure feedwater pre-heaters. They maintain elasticity under fluctuating temperatures and seating stresses up to 200 MPa. Larger gaps can also be reliably managed using BPG graphite rings reinforced with stainless steel springs or full metal caps, ensuring dependable performance in the most demanding operating conditions. BPG 6581 features an outside angle.
Applications
BPG Cover Seals are engineered for demanding applications including general valves, control valves, boilers, and high-pressure valves.
Availability
BPG Cover Seals are available with a standard density of 1.6 g/cm³, with 99.85 % C-content in nuclear quality and 98 % industrial quality, in a wide range of variations e.g. rectangular, with inside or outside angle, with integrated extrusion protection in form of metal caps. Additional designs available on request.
