BPG 8509
Properties
BPG 8509 is a premium expanded graphite sheet reinforced with multilayer stainless steel flat inserts (316L - 0.05 mm). The reinforcement enhances handling and cutting properties while enabling very high compressive loads, making it ideally suited for the most demanding operating conditions across all industries.
Applications
Due to its high compressibility and high resilience makes BPG 8509 a perfect solution for applications with high temperature and pressure combinations and offers operating plant safety and excellent gas tightness. Suitable for steam, gases, hydrocarbons, heat transfer oils and aggressive non-oxidizing media in flange connections, heat exchangers, vessels, steam boilers, pumps and valves.
