BPG 8509
Properties
BPG 8509 is a sheet made of expanded graphite reinforced by multilayer stainless steel flat inserts (316L – thickness 0.05 mm) which improves its handling, cutting and allows very high compressive loads, therefor suitable for very high demanding operating conditions in all industries.
Applications
Due to its high compressibility and high resilience makes BPG 8509 a perfect solution for applications with high temperature and pressure combinations and offers operating plant safety and excellent gas tightness. Suitable for steam, gases, hydrocarbons, heat transfer oils and aggressive (non-oxidizing) media in flange connections, heat exchangers, vessels, steam boilers, pumps and valves.
