Planning ahead and scheduling is one thing. When it comes to the harsh reality on site its evident, that some gasket requirements emerge out of a sudden, e.g. during an unscheduled shutdown or when equipment is dismantled. This is why Burgmann Packings has set up a Fast Lane to meet urgent end-user demands.

The facility operates as a completely independent operation within our Cixi plant to ensure direct communication, lean processes and fast deliveries when it really matters. It is the first production of this kind in our Group and acts as the role-model for our planned roll-out of Service Centers across China. “With the opening of the Fast Lane facility in Cixi, Burgmann Packings continues to improve the service levels for our customers in China, especially in critical situations. This is where we will continue to make a difference and develop long-lasting partnerships with our customers in various industry sectors” Dietmar Winter, Managing Director of Burgmann Packings in China, explains.

Equipped with state-of-the art manufacturing equipment and some of our most experienced staff we make sure to get your plant up and running again in the shortest possible time. This service includes both, manufacturing of standard and non-standard Spiral Wound Gaskets, Kammprofile Gaskets, Ring Type Joints (RTJ) and Teadit® CNAF and PTFE gaskets. We grant direct access to our inventory of sheet gaskets and special alloys for metallic and semi-metallic gaskets, ensure quick turnaround manufacturing, immediate CAD design and Applications Engineering support. Not only for emergency service, but also to serve frame contract requirements with agreed delivery times for equipment gaskets like heat-exchangers. "It is a strategic priority to grow our network of Service Centers in the next years to provide  consistent, outstanding service and make Burgmann Packings the preferred partner for nationwide end-user contracts."
